Town of Collingwood Community Profile
The Town of Collingwood has experienced steady population growth in the past decade. With the largest population of any municipality in the area, Collingwood functions as the major commercial centre for northwest Simcoe County and northeast Grey County, servicing an overall trade area of approximately 75,000 people. In 2016, Collingwood’s census population was 24,600. Since then, the population is estimated to have grown by 14.5% to 24,942 permanent residents.
