Low Down in Collingwood
“We’re speechless. Everyone’s looking out for us and watching our back. I’ve had chefs from other places come by to see our kitchen and offer advice. Everyone is so supportive, and that’s what’s so great about this community.”
The above quote is from an article on Collingwood Today about one of the newest additions to Collingwood’s unofficial arts district downtown. It really says so much about the vibe in Collingwood, doesn’t it? People here want you to succeed and thrive; even if they are your competitors.
I recently had the chance to drop in and enjoy lunch at Low Down with a friend. We “snacked” on delicious Sticky Chinese Chicken Bao buns and, Pok Pok wings with a Vietnamese “magic potion” as described on the very creative little menu which you can view here. Both were unique, creative and delicious. The service was good and while quite small inside, the ambiance was great. The outdoor patio is already proving to be popular as well.
If you’re out and about downtown, drop in and check it out. Maybe we’ll see you there.
