About Me

I was born in Manila City, Philippines; raised in Mississauga, Ontario; and lived much of my adult life in downtown Toronto (interrupted by a 3-year stint in Victoria, BC) before moving to Wasaga Beach with my husband in 2015.

After earning an arts degree in history and political science from the University of Toronto, I realized that there was little demand for historians or political scientists, so I began a career in office administration. Over the years, I worked my way up from receptionist to eventually becoming a project coordinator. In 2016, I was hired by Sherry and Emma to be their administrative assistant. Currently, I am the Finance Administrator for the Rioux Baker Team.

Since moving to Wasaga Beach, I have completely embraced life in the Georgian Bay area.  During the summer, there’s a good chance you’ll find me enjoying the beach, chatting with neighbours on the street, working in my garden, or paddling around Georgian Bay with my dogs. In the winter, there’s nothing I enjoy more than hitting the slopes at nearby Blue Mountain and sharing après-ski with my family and friends.
