Sales in Southern Georgian Bay this February recovered slightly over the month of January with Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and The Blue Mountains showing slight increases. With the exception of Blue Mountain, the months of inventory available is climbing as the number of new listings climbs.
I’ve noticed that low priced properties under $375,000 still seem to be getting multiple offers as are well presented homes in Collingwood’s downtown core. Condos at Blue Mountain which permit short term rentals continue to be in very high demand with virtually no supply. Condos in the Village has been selling well this year as investors continue to seek opportunities in our marketplace.Our district encompasses diverse communities with substantially different market forces.
